Portstewart Golf Club has 3 courses, the main one being The Strand Course which is a championship designed course to challenge the most proficient golfer in every aspect of the game. The first 7 holes are set among huge sandhills above the Atlantic with some wonderful views Portstewart Strand provides quality golf that is truly superb. Measuring 6779 yards with a par of 72.  Map

Royal Portrush GC

Royal Portrush Golf Club has 2Championship courses, the renowned Dunluce Course and the smaller but equally enjoyable Valley Course. The Dunluce Course is a challenging links course with breathtaking scenery, set in between sand dunes overlooking the Antrim coast. Royal Portrush GC is consistently voted as one of the worlds top twenty courses. The course measures 6845 yards with a par of 72. Map

Royal County Down GC

Royal County Down Golf Club is a pure links in the truest sense of the word. The links lie round the curve of Dundrum Bay and within sight of the mountains of Mourne. Donegal GC

Donegal Golf Club is one of the longest links courses measuring 7271 yards off the championship tees with a par of 73.The Bluestack Mountains form an impressive backdrop to the course, which is set on the beautiful Murvagh Peninsula in Donegal Bay. Map

Rosapenna GC

Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Course has 2 wonderful links courses, Old Tom Morris Links and Sandy Hills Links. The Old Tom Morris course has been attracting golfers for over a century and now with the additional Sandy Hills Links, which opened in 2003, this has become a great place to stay and play. Old Tom Morris measures 6476 yards par 70 and the newer Sandy Hills Links measures up at 7155 yards off the championship tees with a par of 71. Map

Ballyliffin GC

Ballyliffin Golf Course has 2 fine championship links courses, the classic Old Links and the magnificent new Glashedy Links. The location is divine, the course grips the coastline overlooking the beach of Pollan Strand and Glashedy Rock, Ballyliffins equivalent of Turnberry's Ailsa Craig. If you are making a trip to Donegal these are two courses that are a must for the "to play" list.  Map

Enniscrone GC

Enniscrone Golf Club is set amongst rugged dunes that have been unchanged since time began. The club has two courses, The Dunes, which is the flagship Championship course measures 6948 yards off the championship tee and The Scurmore course that measures 6734 yards off the back tees. Both have outstanding views over the wonderful beech at the Moy Estuary and of the Atlantic Ocean. Map

County Sligo GC

County Sligo Golf Club is one of Irelands great championship links courses, the club has hosted most of Irelands major championships in its long and venerable history. Situated at Rosses Point which is a small seaside village just a short distance north west of Sligo town. The course measures over 6700 yards and has a par of 71. Map

Carne GC

Carne Golf Links lies in magnificent unspoiled sand dunes overlooking Blacksod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It was the last links course designed by the late Eddie Hacket and is believed by many who have played it to be his best. The course measures 6730 yards and has a par of 72 Map

Belmullet GC

Designed by Eddie Hacket this links course is set amongst sand dunes and offers exceptional scenery. Deceptive dog-legs and lurking bunkers will punish the wayward shot. Measuring 6649 yards with a par of 72 yet another gem to add to the play list.  Map

Galway Bay GC

Galway Bay Golf & Country Club is a fine championship course which was designed by Christy O'Connor Junior. Situated on the Renville peninsula the course provides wonderful views overlooking the bay. The 7th provides will test your nerve, although only 140 yards it is all carry over water to a two-tiered green. The course measures 7191 off the championship tees with a par of 72 Map

Galway GC

Galway Golf Club is a very good parkland course and will give light relief from the west coast links courses. From its elevated position 3 miles outside of the town centre it offers wonderful panoramic views of Galway Bay and the Burren. The course measures 6727 yards and has a par of 70. Map

Connemara GC

Connemara Golf Club is set on the wild Atlantic coastline and proves to be a challenge to all who play it. The course is very picturesque and has some breathtaking views of the Atlantic. The course measures over 7000 yards with a par of 72. A very enjoyable course to play.  Map

Woodstock GC

Woodstock Golf Club is situated in pleasant countryside on the outskirts of Ennis. The course is fully protected by several lakes, a river and mature woodland. The course measures 6450 yards with a par of 71. Map

Doonbeg GC

Doonbeg Golf Club designed by Greg Norman is a true links course that will test your golfing ability and more. The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club opened in 2006 and now offers luxury suites to match the top class 6834 yard course.  Map

Dromoland Castle G & CC

Dromoland Castle Golf & Country Club is a splendid country estate setting . The course has undergone a 5 million Euro revamp in 2004 and is now a course to be proud of. Tree lined holes, water and excellent greens Dromoland is well worth the visit. The course measures 6824 yards and has a par of 72. Map

Lahinch GC

Lanhinch Golf Club is one of Irelands oldest golf clubs and is one of the finest links courses going. Set just outside the seaside village it overlooks the Ocean and part of the course runs along the dune bank bordering the estuary of the River Moy. Lahinch has been a favourite with golfers for many a year and will continue to be so. The links measure6950 yards and has a par of 72 Map

Limerick County G & CC

Limerick County Golf Club is only 13 years old but has been built to championship standard with sand based greens and tees all built to US PGA standards. The design has made good use of the water which is in play on several holes. The course measures 5875 metres with a par of 72. Map

Portmarnock GC

Portmarnock Golf Club one of the truly great links courses. Situated just 12 miles north of Dublin within the curve of the coastline formed by the Howth peninsula, the course serves up some stunning views of Lambay Island which rises sharply from the Irish Sea. You will need all of your golfing skills when playing these wonderful links. The course measures 6497 yards and has a standard scratch of 75 Map

Portmarnock Hotel & GL

Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links is situated just 8 miles north east of Dublin, The links course was designed by Bernhard Langer and offers the golfer a good test of links golf. And is widely recognised as one of Irelands premier resorts. The course measures 6350 metres off the championship tees with a par of 70. The comfortable hotel also offers full spa facilities.  Map

St Margarets GC

St Margarets has been designed as a Championship Golf Course and is just a few miles from the centre of Dublin. The course has already hosted a number of international competitions with the Irish PGA Championship the latest to be held there. The course is always in good condition and is very enjoyable to play. The course measures almost 7000 yards from the back tees with a par of 73. Well worth the visit. Map

Royal Dublin GC

Royal Dublin Golf Club has hosted the Irish Open on a few occasions with Seve Ballesteros winning in 1983 and Bernhard Langer winning in 1984. The links are situated on Bull Island, which is a sand bank just off the north shore of Dublin Bay. The Royal Dublin is a challenging course but an experience you will enjoy. The course measures 6646 metres and has a par of 72. Map

Malahide GC

Malahide Golf Club is one of the oldest in Ireland. This inland course gently undulates through mature trees and around rivers and ponds. The three nine hole loops can be played in any combination. The course measures over 6000 metres which ever combination you play. Map

The K Club GC

The K Club offers 5 star accommodation, with 2 splendid golf courses the Palmer Course and the Smurfit Course, this is the perfect place to spoil yourself on your weekend break. The K Club hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup and has also hosted 2 European Open competitions since 1995. The Palmer course, designed by Arnold Palmer, is one of the country's most challenging and spectacular inland courses. The Palmer course measure up at 7337 yards par 72 and the Smurfit course at 7277 yards par 72 both measured from the championship tees. Map

Druids Glen GC

Druids Glen Resort now has 2 excellent courses plus the 148 room Druids Glen Marriott Hotel & Country Club. The main course is Druids Glen, a magnificent course set amongst forest and streams. No two holes are the same with each one providing a good test but also very pleasing to the eye, this is a delight to play. The second course is Druids Heath, which made a dramatic entry onto the world golf scene and has already hosted the Irish PGA Championship in 2006. The course is a combination of heathland, parkland and links type holes. A fantastic setting for 2 outstanding courses and only 30 minutes from Dublin centre. The Druids Glen course measures just over 7000 yards with Druids Heath measuring 7431 yards from the championship tees Map

Seapoint GC

Seapoint Golf Course underwent redevelopment and upgrading in 2004 and provides a championship links course of 7150 yards. Links golf is a unique challenge and Seapoint will give you that challenge by making use of every club in your bag. The course is located about 1 hour from Dublin. Map

Powerscourt GC

Powerscourt Golf Club is situated within the grounds of the magnificent Powerscourt Estate in Co. Wicklow and is about 30 minutes south of Dublin. There are 2 courses the East Course and the new West Course both follow the contours of this mature and historic landscape and offer a variety of challenging holes. This is a good parkland layout and very scenic. The East Course measures 7063 yards and the West is 6941 yards from the championship tees. Map

Co Louth GC

County Louth Golf Club or "Baltray" as it is more affectionately known is links golf at its best. This lesser known course is indeed a hidden gem and very enjoyable to play. With only 50 bunkers on the links the real course defence is the natural terrain. The course measures 6936 yards with a par of 73.  Map

Rathsallagh GC

Rathsallagh Golf Club is set in undulating mature parkland with streams meandering their way through the course and greens that are like velvet to putt on. This will prove a good test of your golfing skills but is fair to all who play. The course measures 7200 yards from the medal tees. Situated about 45 minutes south west of Dublin. Map

The European GC

The European Golf Club opened in 1993 and is a wonderful links course that looks as though it could have been there for a 100 years. Ranked 15th in Golf Monthly magazines top 120 courses in Britain & Ireland. The exciting links go through tumbling dunes with dramatic views of the Irish Sea, some of the holes play along the side of the beach. The course measures 7368 yards and should be on your to play list. Map

The Island GC

The Island Golf Club is one of Irelands premier links courses. Just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport the course is located across the estuary from the quaint village of Malahide and just north of Portmarnock. The course is set in splendid isolation and its rugged beauty cannot fail to impress. The course measures 6236 metres with a par of 71 off the championship tees. Map



South West Ireland


Killarney GC

Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is set alongside the famous lakes of Killarney with the stunning backdrop of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range. The club offers three courses each offering different challenges, The Killeen is the jewel in the crown, with tight tree lined fairways, water features on many holes and large undulating greens create a course that is both spectacular and challenging. Ballybunion GC

Ballybunion Golf Club is located on the Shannon estuary and has two wonderful golf courses. The Old Course and the Cashen Course and both true seaside links courses set out within the rough and rugged dunes. Undulating fairways and greens will test your golfing skills but you will enjoy the test, you will not tire of playing Ballybunion. The wind can play a big part to how well you score. The Old Course measures 6542 yards with a par of 71 and the Cashen measures 6477 yards with a par of 72 Map

Tralee GC

Tralee Golf Club was designed by Arnold Palmer and opened on its current site in 1984. He explained that he had designed the front nine but surely God had designed the back nine. A wonderful course layout that allows you to get into it gently but starts to show its teeth in preparation for a tough back nine. Spectacular views of the Atlantic as it rolls gently over the huge sandy beaches where part of the film Ryans Daughter was filmed. If touring in Kerry this is a must. The course measure 6891 yards with a par of 71 Map

Dooks GC

Dooks Golf Club is situated on one of three stretches of sand at the head of Dingle Bay. If you are looking for a beautiful and tranquil location to enjoy a round of golf Dooks is able to offer it to you. Wonderful scenery that you will not forget, you will enjoy this pleasant test of golf. The course measures 6500 yards with a par of 71. Map

Waterville GC

Waterville Golf Course is a mystical experience, classic links stretch of land surrounded by the sea and shaped by the elements. Waterville is over 100 years old and is rated in the top 5 courses in Ireland. A traditional links course with dunes, gorse, undulating fairways and quick greens plus the outstanding views around the course Waterville is a must for the to play list. Kenmare GC

Kenmare Golf Club was founded in 1903 and lays alongside the picturesque Roughty river estuary. The course also provides wonderful panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the Roughty Valley. This parkland course is a fair test of golf to all standards of golfers. The course measures 6000 yards and has a standard scratch of 69. Map

Ring of Kerry Golf Club opened in 1998 and is situated with wonderful views over looking Kenmare Bay with the Kerry Mountains as a spectacular backdrop. Mount Juliet GC

Mount Juliet Golf Club is a truly testing outstanding parkland course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Mount Juliet has hosted the Irish Open on 3 occasions and offers a most enjoyable golfing experience to golfers of all standards. The course is dominated by mature specimen trees and river scenery throughout. It measures 7112 yards with a par of 72. Map

The Cork GC

The Cork Golf Club was founded in 1888 and redesigned in 1927 by Alister Mackenzie. This championship parkland course is scenically situated in Cork Harbour and has played host to major Amateur and Professional competitions over the years. With a par of 72 and measuring 6731 yards off the championship tees, Cork Golf Club is as good a golfing challenge as you will find in Ireland. Map

Old Head GL

Old Head Golf Links is built on a 220 acre diamond of land jutting out into the Atlantic. The promontory is almost and island with some of the cliffs rising in places to over 300ft. The course offers views of the Atlantic from all 18 holes. With the ever changing sea breeze the course can provide a stern test but is well worth the visit to experience this unique setting. The course measures 7200 yards with a par of 72. Map

Fota Island GC

Fota Island Golf Club is situated in Cork Harbour, only a few minutes drive from Cork City centre. Fota Island hosted the Irish open in 2001 & 2002 and is a sister course to Mount Juliet. This traditional parkland course weaves its way through woodland and lakes to provide a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience. The course measures 6901 yards with a par of 71.  Map

Faithlegg GC

Faithlegg Golf Club opened in 1993 and is a superb parkland layout with tricky doglegs, blind tee shots and strategically positioned sand traps and represents a stiff challenge to all golfers. Set on the banks of the River Suir the course moulds cleverly into a wonderful landscape of mature trees, flowing parkland and 5 lakes. The course measures 6674 yards with a standard scratch of 72  Map

Waterford Castle Hotel & Golf Club
